Overview
Many love Mere Christianity, but the Lewis book included in The Great Books of the Western World – and near the top of National Review’s most important books of the 20th century – is The Abolition of Man (TAOM). Why? Because in it Lewis predicted how things could unfold between 1943 and today. And he was right. Why isn’t TAOM more famous? Because while it’s short, it’s quite dense. If you want to better understand TAOM and consequently better understand today – and you live near Nashville, TN – sign up for the Lakelight Live event on April 9th taking place in Franklin. Mike Woodruff
Senior Pastor and Lakelight Board Chairman
Mike Woodruff has served as the Senior Pastor at Christ Church since 2002. Prior to this he was a college pastor (’85-92), a management consultant (’92-99) and an associate pastor (‘99-02). Mike has published more than 200 articles and written and edited ten books. He has degrees from DePauw University and Trinity International University. He is the chairman of the board for Lakelight Institute.
